Our foundation has gained a lot of experience supporting small, local initiative over the past few years. We want to apply this knowledge in two villages where we have been active for a long time. By structurally working together with the local population, our aim is to restore the villages in a durable manner. Both villages have shown initiative and multiple people are willing to contribute to the restoration and preservation of their villages. SDO is currently evaluating how renovation, education, knowledge, the women’s organization and local economic activity may reinforce each other.
Two clear project proposals have been designed, which we will discuss with all involved parties.
