We again had an incredibly inspiring morning. At 10 o’clock in the morning, the thermometers were already showing 40 degrees, but despite the heat we encountered two groups engaging in dune fixation. This will become more and more important over the coming years. For detailed information, I suggest looking at the Dogon Women’s Initiative’s website as we have been working on this project together since its onset. We hope our work will eventually lead to the establishment of a new foundation. In Mali there has already been talk about the ‘Initiative Dessert Vert’ (IDV).
