For the understanding of the project we collected photographical documentation and information from around 2000 and today, July 2012. The village of Pah was beautifully documented by a German group of architects and the Mission Culturelle in Bandiagara. It shows the richness of housing in this village in 2000 and before. Unfortunately there was no attempt made to keep the people reside in the village, who now started living at the foot of the hill and abandoned their houses and the mosque. Today we can see the result of not maintaining the houses for 10 year: the entire village is collapsed. Interviewing the inhabitants and the chief of the village this year we received the seriously request of the possibility of returning to their old village with the great housing and strong social structure. This is of course too late but it shows to us the urge of scaling up our work in the village of Nando.
